Gustavo H. Mendonça is a concept designer, illustrator, matte painter and industrial designer with professional roots in the visual development world of movies, games, animated features and TV. Originally from Brazil, Gustavo is primarily a self-taught artist that began his professional career very early at the age of 15 as an Illustrator for a respected Brazilian AD agency. Later in life he studied architecture and industrial design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Canada. After living in Brazil, Portugal, Canada, Japan and San Francisco, he settled in the creative environment of Seattle, Washington. Gustavo focuses his design work on projects that are highly creative and that push the boundaries of visual design. He has worked with acclaimed companies such as LucasFilm Ltd, Microsoft 343 Industries, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Warner Bros, Dino De Laurentiis Company, EA, Capcom, Coca Cola and Nike. Gustavo is also working on creating his own design label.
